Who is the oldest: Popeye or Sailor Jack ?
Actually, the youngest is the oldest !!   Sailor Jack from the Cracker Jack box, was first used in 1918 and trademarked in 1919 …….. Popeye made his first appearance in a comic strip on Jan 17, 1929, according to Wikipedia.

SS UNITED STATES Maiden Voyage 3 July 1952 →
On the 59th Anniversary today, of the maiden voyage of the SS UNITED STATES luxury passenger liner, CBS Sunday Morning did this 2-1/2 minute tribute to this great ship.  The SS UNITED STATES Conservancy has efforts underway to “Save Our Ship”.
